Cookie Policy

1. We don't use cookies
There are no cookies on this site. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party trackers. We do not measure your visit, and we could not identify you from it if we wanted to.
This is also why you are not being interrupted by a cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to.
2. The one thing we do store
When you use the light/dark toggle, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site looks the way you left it next time. Local storage is similar to a cookie in that it lives in your browser, but unlike a cookie it is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
| Name | What it holds | Why | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
loso-theme |
The word light or dark |
To remember your display preference | Stays until you clear your browser data |
That is the complete list. It holds no identifier, nothing about who you are, and nothing about what you looked at.
3. Third parties
Every script, font and image on this site is served from this site itself, so browsing it does not load anything from an outside domain. Two services are still involved behind the scenes, and we do not control what they store.
- Netlify hosts the site and may set a cookie for load balancing or security purposes as part of serving pages.
- Formspree processes the contact form. This only comes into play if you actually submit the form, and may involve cookies on their side for spam prevention.
- Social platforms — if you click through to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or WhatsApp, you are on their site under their rules, and they will almost certainly set cookies.
If we ever embed video from YouTube or Vimeo on these pages, those players set their own cookies when they load. We will update this page if that happens.
4. Controlling it
You can clear the stored theme preference at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this site, usually found under Privacy or History in your browser settings. Doing so simply means the site will follow your device's light/dark setting again on your next visit. Nothing else is affected and nothing breaks.
5. Changes
If we add anything that stores data in your browser, this page will say so before it goes live, with a new date at the top.
